Road Haulage Association (RHA) – Conditions of Storage – 1 December 2009
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) has announced the publication of a new set of Conditions of Storage, effective 1 December 2009. As with the current edition, the new conditions will be copyright. Whilst we are not yet in possession of a full specimen copy of the new conditions, the main amendments from the 1998 edition are revised provisions regarding:
- lien and sale of goods
- clarity over the applicable of English law
- interest calculations for the late payment of storage charges
- an updated wording to reflect new regulations regarding the storage of dangerous goods
